Everything went even better than I ever could have imagined!! The wedding was perfect and it was such a great moment to share with all of our closest friends and family. Our professional photos will take about 2-3 weeks, but I am uploading the a video of the ceremony. As I collect bits and pieces from everyone’s cameras, I will post those pictures as well. Thank you again to everyone for making the day as perfect as it was, and thank you to my new husband for making me such a happy wife.

PS apparently still working on the upload - it’s a big video.
In two days, we’ll be down to single digits!! Yay!!!
Over the weekend we had a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party which was a ton of fun. Thanks to all who were involved in the planning. We went Go Kart racing and then heading over to Dave and Busters for some good old video game fun. I dominated the trivia game and Matty made Whack-A-Mole his b*tch.
Prior to the gaming extravaganza I managed to make Go Kart racing into a full contact sport. I had a head on collision at 40 mph. Owwwww. Other than a minor panic attack, some bruises, a teeny tiny bit of whiplash and a cut lip, I was fine. I mean really……is anyone surprised?? I’m going to go ahead and leave the kart racing to the boys next time!

Drum roll please……We ran around doing wedding stuff all day on Saturday and we picked out Matty’s outfit!! I’d like to throw a little shout out to him for being such a good sport about spending the day at the mall - one of his least favorite places. We were suppose to head to Best Buy afterwards for his reward, but half a cheeseburger and a beer later I was ready to fall asleep in the car so we headed home. Perhaps I’m biased, but I have to say that he looked ridiculously, unbelievably handsome and I can’t wait to see him all dressed up.
I also picked up my dress and discovered that my shapewear for underneath is a cross between a tourniquet and one of those suits that wrestlers wear to sweat off an extra 3 pounds before the big meet. Crap sandwiches that thing is hot! ?! Ahhh…..the price of beauty. All I’m saying is keep the hugs loose the day of the wedding.

Yesterday I noticed that one of the small diamonds surrounding the center stone in my ring had abandoned ship and I had to take it off to be repaired. Fortunately we have the most amazing jeweler in the whole wide world and when I called, her immediate response was “Get that ring over here right away so I can fix it!!” Between waiting tables and teaching, I use my hands so much that I am constantly afraid of damaging my ring, but I can’t imagine NOT wearing it. Since I am not sure when of us will have time to go pick it up, I will probably be sans ring until the big day which is strange for me.
Down to 3 weeks and picking up my dress this weekend. YAY!!

We’re officially one month away from the big day, and we figured it might be fun to share some of the details with you. The main purpose of this page will be to share video/photos from the wedding with all of our friends and family once the wedding has occurred but in the meantime we’ll try to share some of our day to day thoughts and plans leading up to the big day.
Currently my favorite thing to do (according to Matty) is to make lists and lose them. This then leads to me urgently repeating, “We have SO much to do still!!”, but not being able to list a single thing when Matty asks, “Such as…” In my defense, we still have to write our vows and find something for him to wear which are two major parts of the wedding so perhaps that is what is contributing to my newly heightened level of spazziness. Well either that or I should lay off my daily trips to Starbucks…..
Bear with me as I learn to navigate this new site and I should have our “about us” posted shortly (just click on “about” at the top of the page.) Until then, enjoy!!
